Because of this your care providers, Dr. Sarina Harman-Tinnel, Dr. Sarah Prinz and their top notch team, have been very diligently keeping up to date with everything we can do to keep you safe from COVID-19.
We are following regulations and protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and local health departments (KDHE) to ensure the utmost safety for our patients and their families.
About Our COVID-19 Safety Protocols
We have always followed the CDC and OSHA requirements for Universal Precautions or Standard Precautions. These precautions mean that we are prepared and we do training based upon the objective that all of our patients at any one time could have a communicable disease.
This means that we are using personal protective items, never reusing and ALWAYS using a bactericidal/virucidal/sporicidal surface agent to kill potential pathogens. We do have the benefit of the surface disinfectants killing 99.9% of bacteria, virus’ and spores, and Covid-19 is one of the easier viruses to kill.

We are striving to go above and beyond with our patient care so we have implemented a few changes:
- We screen each patient for COVID symptoms at each appointment. If a patient has any COVID-19 symptoms, they will be asked to reschedule their appointment.
- Each operatory contains an air filtration device. These devices run 24 hours/day Monday-Thursday.
- Hand sanitizer, mouth wash, and masks are provided to patients upon request.
